Business change and integration 

The nature of a major change often results in such a large amount of “unknowns”, that it is hard for an organisation to grasp the scale of what they have to do in a practical sense. We help our clients work through the complexity, supplying teams of highly experienced implementation consultants able to offer wisdom and insight from day one, and fully prepare the organisation for what lies ahead.

Boiled down, the management of a change programme requires just three stages – the assessment of current status, the transition, and the handover of the new way of working. In practice, that converts into separate work streams, each comprising chains of activities. Success requires that these component activities progress and fit together as coherent whole. We believe that is achieved through building the programme on clear and understandable principles, pragmatic solutions and thorough people/process integration, the delivery of which is the job of the Programme Director. Our Programme Directors therefore have in-depth understanding of change management and business integration issues.

Alternatively, we can supply expert change support to enable a client’s in-house Programme Team.  Some organisations are seeking to develop their own resources to deliver change programmes, in which case we work with client staff delivering the change, with our team guiding, teaching, demonstrating techniques and providing support. In that way, the skills transfer is well established and there is a lasting legacy for the client organisation.
